Notes Unit is very similar to those found on light sensitive moving coil magnifiers. Many of the unit's terminals are labelled "hot wire" suggesting an early type of magnifier (possibly a Heurtley.) Both the galvanometer coil and coil suspension frame are missing, which might have enabled more positive identification. from Craig Semsel's Inventory and notes, 1990
